Relational Approach/Team Teach
In our Relational Approach/Team Teach Course, we have adapted the Team Teach framework to focus on the principles and practices that form the Spaghetti Bridge Relational Approach, including techniques for self-awareness, reflective practice, and creating connection with students and each other.
Key Principles of the Spaghetti Bridge Approach to Staff Learning
We learn through experience
While conceptual knowledge is important, a central part of the learning process is applying this knowledge in practice and real-life settings
Learning is Social
Humans are social creatures and we learn best when we do so as a group and community
Learning is Continuous
We learn in every moment of our work with our students and each other, not just through formal sessions and programmes
Learning takes place in a Culture of Learning
Our school culture is built around trying new ideas and approaches, being curious, learning from each other, and reflecting on and learning when things do not work as planned
Learning is fun- and challenging
Learning should be fun, but this doesn't mean that it should not challenge us to push ourselves and stretch our capacity
